Azaadeh Ali Sher was born in the city of Hamilton, located in Southern Ontario on the western end of the Niagara Peninsula in Canada. However, he spent most of his life being raised in Toronto; the largest multicultural city in Canada. He completed his Bachelors Degree (Honors) at York University (Canada) in Law and Society, and is currently an International Juris Doctor/LLB candidate in the United Kingdom. Azaadeh Ali Sher plans on practicing law in Canada and Pakistan to help people in attaining justice and equality. He also wishes to enter Politics in the near future, hoping to make a difference in Pakistan. His interest in music started in 2006 when he released his first unofficial spoken word track in his attempt to increase awareness on the issues related to Palestinian occupation and the Lebanese war with Israel.

In early 2011, and late 2012 he visited his family in Karachi and was emotionally shook with what he saw. He realized that Pakistan was in a state of chaos, and was awaken by the increasing political and institutional corruption and he decided to take a stand and speak up against the instability in Karachi. Thus, his debut track tries to increase awareness of the situation in Karachi, and to promote a positive change. He feels that “anything is possible, and we can save our beautiful country one city at a time… only if we are able to learn from our past mistakes. Its time to wake up... Jag Jao Karachi.”

Moreover, Azaadeh Ali Sher believes in the importance of education, and especially the equal access to education in all parts of Pakistan for both boys and girls in all financial classes. He also promotes the empowerment of women, and advocates strongly against discrimination based on gender, religion, and language in Pakistan. These will also be some of the topics he will cover in his upcoming album. He supports the efforts of many NGO’s such as MAPc - Motivation and Awareness Program for Community in Peshawar, and The Voice Foundation International in Karachi who work very hard in making a difference in Pakistan.
